Owena Station

The Owena station caters for Cocoa, Robusta coffee and Kola in the south west zone rain forest belt.

CRIN Owena station is one of the six CRIN Substations. It is located in Ondo State in the Southwestern part of Nigeria. It is strategic located to serve farmers in the Southwestern states such as Ondo, Ekiti, Osun and possibly part of Kwara States. The major CRIN mandate crop at the Substation is cocoa. Apart from this, Kola, Coffee and Tea can also be found in small quantity at the substation. The total effective hectarage for all the plantations in the Substation is 22.1ha.  Presently, the Substation is having two Outstations viz; Alade outstation with effective hectarage of 0.4ha and Onisere outstation with effective hectarage of 1.0ha. The major mandate crop in each of the Outstations is cocoa.
