The Flavour Quality Laboratory is well furnished and equipped.

Soil and Plant Nutrition Lab

We offer reliable and quick analysis of soil, plant and fertilizer materials using wet method analysis.

Biotechnology Lab

Cocoa plantlets have been successfully regenerated from the floral part (staminode) of cocoa.

Biochemistry Lab

The laboratory analyze both in process and finished products.

The Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) was established in Ibadan, Oyo State on 1st December, 1964 as a successor autonomous rese arch organisation to the Nigerian Substation of the defunct West African Cocoa Research Institute (WACRI)
