Samuel B. Orisajo {B. Agric. (Hons), M. Agric., PhD} has over 20 years’ research and farmers’ participatory training experience on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)/Crop Protection involving Integrated Crop Pest Management (ICPM). He is an Assistant Director and Head of Kola Research Programme in CRIN. He was the Institute’s West Africa Agricultural Productivity Programme Coordinator (2013-2015); Head of Station, Ibeku Substation, Abia State (2016-2018), and Head of Station, Ajassor Substation, Cross-River State (2012-2013). Dr. Orisajo is a recipient of several awards including the Best Graduating Student in Crop Production (1997, University of Ilorin), Niger River Basin Development Authority Award for the Best Final Year Student (1997), Norman Borlaug Cocoa Fellowship Award (2010, USDA/ARS, Beltsville, USA), and NFP/TP Fellowship Award on Integrated Pest Management and Food Safety (2012, Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation, The Netherlands). He has over 50 Research Publications in both Local and International Journals, Conference Proceedings and with more than 10 Book Publications to his credit.
