AATON, CRIN Chapter holds Seminar

The Association of Agricultural Technologists of Nigeria (AATON), CRIN Chapter held seminar tagged; Role of Agricultural Technologists of Nigeria: Relationship between Zonal Leaders and their Assistants on July 19, 2023 at the Institute. The speakers at the event were Mrs. R.F. Adeyemo (Plantation Manager) and Mrs. G.A. Oladejo from Plant Breeding. In the Plantation Manager’s presentation, she highlighted some of the roles of Agricultural Technologists which involves: maintenance and sanitation of the Institute’s environment, raising of seedlings of our mandate crops, maintenance of CRIN mandate crops’ plantations, and production of hybrid cocoa pods for farmers. In her conclusion, she averred that Agricultural Technologists are vital contributors to the achievement of CRIN mission and vision. The occasion was well attended by all the rank and file of the members of the association among whom were the Chairman, Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes and Associated Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI), Comrade (Amb.) Prince Abioye, AATON CRIN Chapter Chairperson, Mrs. Babalola, and Mr. Samson Odedele (Ex. Officio). The Executive Director was well represented by the Director, Plantation and Substations Dr. Moses Ogunlade.
