CRIN Female Researchers Attend 2023 Organisation of Women in Science for the Developing Countries (OWSD) Ibadan Annual Picnic

The female researchers of CRIN joined their colleagues from all other institutions across Ibadan metropolis to participate in 2023 OWSD picnic held on the 7th December, 2023 at the botanical garden of the University of Ibadan. The main purpose of the picnic was to familiarize themselves with other female researchers in sister’s institutions in Ibadan for possible research collaboration as well as for the end of year relaxation. The event was organised by the executives of OWSD Ibadan branch ably led by Professor Aina Adeogun of the Department of Zoology, University of Ibadan.

The event witnessed varieties of activity and side attraction such as face painting, playing of different games and dancing.
Good music a la carte was not left out as this added colours to the picnic. Their were varieties of foods and snacks for the enjoyment of researchers such as jollof & fried rice, porridge, ice cream, cakes, grilled chicken & fish and take home packages.
Another unique thing for this year event was the children’s corner, that gave children the opportunity to also have a nice time.
We wish Organization of Women in Science for the Developing Countries (OWSD), Ibadan branch, merry christmas and a happy new year in advance.
