Research Institutes Games Association of Nigeria (RIGAN) held its National Executive Council (NEC) and Council meeting at CRIN on 6th and 7th June, 2023. Representatives from 22 Research Institutes were in attendance. Amidst other discussions at the meeting which was attended by Mr. E.O. Kuforiji, one of the Institute’s RIGAN Council members, was the bid to host the 18th edition of the biennial RIGAN Games festival. It is worthy to note that this is the first time the Institute will host RIGAN Council meeting as it looks forward to hosting the main games festival. The Executive Director, Dr. Patrick Adebola, who was unavoidably absent, gave his blessing to the NEC and Council members. He was duly represented by Dr. A. O. Famaye. Some members of CRIN Sport family graced the opening ceremony.
